Once Again !

I found myself in an all too familiar position. I was homeless and hopeless. I did not want to continue living, firmly convinced that I was doomed to repeat the same dysfunctional patterns… again and again.

Eventually, I checked myself into detox and ended up at Healing Transitions in Raleigh, NC. It was there where I began to have hope that a different way of life was possible.

Having the opportunity to learn from the men that came before me is one of the many blessings that Healing Transitions afforded me.

As I neared the end of my stay with Healing Transitions, it was suggested that I apply to Emmaus House of Raleigh.

During my time with Emmaus, I have been offered love, support, and stability. Through compassion and understanding, the men of Emmaus exemplify what is possible in recovery.

I am grateful and so very proud to be a member of the Emmaus Family. Emmaus House is a blessing in my new life, one that was unimaginable not so long ago.
